Gauripur House Kalimpong

Gauripur House, located in Kalimpong, West Bengal, is a historic mansion with significant cultural importance. It was a favorite retreat of Rabindranath Tagore, who visited the place multiple times between 1938 and 1940. In fact, Tagore celebrated his 78th birthday at Gauripur House in 1938, and even recited his poem "Janmadin" live on All India Radio from there.
