Kalimpong District Tourism Welfare Society is collaborating with various Non-Profit Organizations in the kalimpong District. Voluntourism or Internship can support Kalimpong Districts local communities in various ways , including Education, Healthcare and Social welfare initiative, benefiting underprivileged Schools, Hostels , Care Centres , Sports and Local Families.

Requirements from Volunteers/Internees :
Age: 18+
Language Skills: English (Basic Level)
Nationality Restrictions: No Restrictions,Helping hands from all over the world are welcome.
Educational Requirements: Basic English and other subjects at High School, University level
Other Skills: Volunteers are expected to have English Skills that enable them to communicate with the people.
Especially good for: Age 18+, Single, Couples, Families, Groups.
Volunteering Availability: January to December (12 Months).
Volunteers and Interns are welcome to select their preferred location and field of work that aligns with their interests and skills. Please refer to our application form for detailed information on available opportunities.
KDTWS does not charge any fees to volunteers or interns, but they are required to
cover the costs of their food (Breakfast, Lunch, Tea, Dinner) and accommodation(24x7 Wi-Fi,Hot Water,Fan). The homestay fee is $20 per day.
Additionally, there is a one-time airport pickup and drop-off fee of $120.
Upon successful completion of the voluntourism/internship program, candidates will receive a Certificate awarded by the Kalimpong District Tourism Welfare Society(Govt. Regd.).
